Hudson Valley Bee Habitat is a nonprofit from Kingston, NY whose goal is to pollinate public engagement with the environment and each other through the arts, bees, and mindfulness. They ask, ‘How might we leverage art, science, and mindful arts programming to reconnect people with nature and to help save the bees?’

Co-founded by Emily Puthoff, Elena Sniezek, and Jennifer Woodin, the team has created a great buzz around their work, recently becoming a finalist for ArtPlace America’s 2017 National Creative Placemaking Fund. Their Kingston Bee-Line, 3-D printed solitary bee habitats, and educational efforts have inspired bee saving efforts through the Hudson Valley.
