CARLA I. CORCORAN

Program Manager

Carla is a graduate of the Hartford Art School, having received her BFA in Printmaking in 2004. After graduating, she briefly worked as an Admissions Counselor for the University of Hartford. Her first professional experience was working as the Public Information Fellow at the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism (now the DECD Office of the Arts). This introduction to all the arts and cultural institutions throughout the state led her to her next position as the Managing Director of the Hartford-based Judy Dworin Performance Project, Inc. For over 5 years she ran the day-to-day operations of this dance and arts education non-profit. After a hiatus to raise her son, she began working at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury as the Marketing and Development Assistant. She has now come back to the Hartford Art School as the Program Manager for the Nomad/9 Interdisciplinary MFA.
