I am excited to be part of a cross discipline team of teachers all interested in making the world a better place in creative ways.  My work focuses within the system of a city and changing the ways cities use land, engage with residents, and vision the future.  I feel like my job is to invite residents into being part of designing what our urban cores and bringing underrepresented voices to the table by making new tables, moving the table and redefining what the table of power can be.  I believe Nomad 9 aligns with my ethics around education, cities, and has a similar vision of the future.  I am honored to work as a thesis advisor helping students dream big: expanding their personal definition of art on the journey of becoming change makers. If artist can’t make the world a better place who can?!
