I am very much looking forward to sharing the fieldwork aspect of Nomad9 with students. I think of fieldwork as a tactile thinking space, where pedagogy and praxis come together outside of the four walls of an artist’s studio. This dynamic is further expanded when the research space is collectively inhabited by artists as well as creative practitioners from other fields.

I also look forward to connecting with students as they shape their thesis projects. As a thesis advisor I will be a resource for students as they conduct their creative and academic research, specifically encouraging students to incorporate methodologies beyond those typically found in studio-focused MFA programs.
